Full HD 60p (50p for PAL) AVCHD Camcorders and Cameras are more and more popular for us. Have you got one? Panasonic FZ200, Sony CX760 or other Camcorders? If so, you must like playing the Full HD recordings with your family and friends. But if you atempt to import the 60p/50p AVVHD .mts/.m2ts files to Adobe Premiere for editing to get the better effect, you will meet the error -”incompatible format”. Why? The reason is that 1080 60p is a non-standard format, and there was almost no one Video Editor can surpport the HD files even using Plugins. So we have to look for a third software to change the 60p/50p files before ingesting to Adobe Premiere

However, the AVCHD format is nothing like RAW in that it is very highly compressed and optimised to make the best use of the memory on your camera but I feel that the AVCHD output from my modest HD camcorder is excellent and worth preserving and I get useful recording times using it on the 8GB MS Pro Duo cards I have.
