Heating Your Outdoor Space

One of the benefits to infrared heat is that it can perform well in all types of different weather situations. It is housed in a water-proof chamber that makes sure that nothing impairs its ability to emit heat.

This type of outdoor heating can withstand snow, rain, dust, and wind because it does not use combustible tanks, flames, plumbing, or fossil fuels. This also makes it safer and more environmentally-friendly than other forms of traditional outdoor heating.

Unlike traditional heaters, infrared heaters do not use propane, gas, or water to keep it running. Instead you plug the machine into a regular electrical outlet. This will make heating the outdoors a lot cheaper than you might think.

The average cost for propane is $2.40 per gallon, and a large outdoor heater uses a 20 gallon tank. This supply will last you anywhere from 12 to 16 hours; meaning that you will be paying about $3 an hour just for heat.

That type of money adds up fast and can be very expensive. And after the tank is empty, you have to go through the trouble of hauling that large tank to a place to get it refilled. This can very inconvenient if you have to refill it every-other week.

Since infrared heaters run on electricity, you never have to go through the inconvenience of refilling anything, and you won’t have to worry about running out of gas in the middle of a party when your friends are over.

Electricity is a lot cheaper that gas as well, the average cost per hour is about 14 cents. This will save you an average of $2.26 an hour! This way you can spend all the time in the world outdoors and not have to worry about the cost to keep warm.

This type of machine is also versatile, allowing you to put it anywhere and everywhere you need it. A popular place is your outdoor patio. If you live in a seasonal climate, you typically only use your outdoor space in the summer months.

This time of year is when most people barbeque and have outdoor parties because of the nice, warm weather. Spending time outside should not be dependent on what the weather brings; you should be able to use your space whenever you want.
An infrared heating device allows you to spend all year outside, enjoying the days and nights, regardless of the temperature. It just needs to be plugged in and it will emit enough heat to warm your entire patio area.

Another common place that is lacking in warmth is a garage or workshop. In the colder months, your tools are like ice and it makes them difficult to work with. On top of that, the entire space is cold, making it a miserable, uncomfortable environment to have to work it.

Traditional heaters only blow hot air, but infrareds direct the heat at certain objects. This means they send out warmth to the objects around you, not the air. This allows you have warm tools, chairs, tables, anything.

Once the objects around you are warm, they too will emit heat, making the entire space and everything in it warm. Since no gas is being burned, it is also safer to have in closed environments like a garage.

Traditional heating systems may cause people to pass out from natural gas fumes that fill the air around them. This can be very dangerous, but since the infrared heater only uses electricity, you don’t have to worry about harmful gases.

This type of machine is also a lot smaller than more traditional hot air blowers. It can be mounted to a wall or attached to a stand, allowing you to provide warmth wherever you want it. Since it is portable, you can buy only one and move it from your workshop to your patio with ease. This product is a great investment that allows you to enjoy all of your colder spaces in any weather.
