4. All job openings are published somewhere.
5. Answering ads is a surefire way to get an interview . . . the more ads the better.
6. Agencies and recruiters are my friends . . . they’ll look out for me.
7. Employers want to see a detailed analysis of my past work history.
8. Hiring decision-makers value me only if I’m able to answer all their questions.
9. How much made on my last job is the basis for negotiations.
10. I should be willing to take the first offer that comes along. It’s rude to be entertaining other offers.
